Description
A manual swipe, bi-directional, magnetic reader. The MagShell® 900 conforms to ISO 7810, 7811, AAMVA, JIS & DMV format, All ISO tracks supported. It communicates with a host computer or other terminal via a standard USB interface, and requires no external power.
Magshell® 900 magnetic stripe reader can be used with the optional MedicScan product line software.

A magnetic reader is a hardware device that reads the information encoded in the magnetic stripe located on the back of a plastic card or badge. Card Scanning Solutions (CSSN) offers a portable magnetic reader - the MagShell® 900 USB magnetic card reader - that can be used with the optional MedicScan® product line software. The MagShell® 900 USB magnetic card reader series is ideal for retail systems, time keeping systems, security systems and other card reader related systems and the triple track of MagShell® 900 is uniquely designed to read both credit cards and driver’s licenses (AAMVA and California standard).
The MagShell® 900 reads the data on the magnetic stripe automatically as soon as the card is swiped and extracts the data into an external file or the clipboard. The portable and compact MagShell® 900 is a manual swipe, bi-directional and portable magnetic reader which conforms to ISO 7810, 7811, AAMVA, JIS and DMV format and all ISO tracks are supported. It communicates with a host computer or other terminal via a standard USB interface, is TWAIN compatible and requires no external power.
